Update no 12 as at the 22nd of March 2023 – warmth at last!

Whilst it might not have been wall to wall sunshine last week, at least there have been some sunny periods  and this has encouraged 37 butterflies to emerge in the County which is very favourable when compared to the first 2 months of the year which produced only 19...

According to the Met Office,  we are now approaching the start of Spring 2023, although I prefer to use the Equinox as the start of Spring as the fickle month of March can remain cold until at least mid month, which is when we usually start to see reasonable numbers...
