New Information Centre

Below are a couple of photos showing the new Information Centre that has been erected in HGQ during May 2022. The inside is going to be fitted out with pin boards so that we can put up I D charts of the various wildlife that has been recorded at the site.

First sightings this year of the rare Dingy Skipper

A sunny and warm 30th of April 2022 brought out the first sightings this year of the rare Dingy Skipper  butterfly at Hoe Grange Quarry when 2 individuals were seen by Alan Walker whilst he was doing the butterfly transect there.
